I like our receivers room... I would love to see Mertz surprise everyone and catch fire with the receivers, and we know the running backs will do their part. Now the defense and special teams have to come through to make for a better than expected season. Can't wait!

I thought these couple of paragraphs (among many) would get a lot of discussion today:

The 6-1, 192-pound receiver will likely play a bigger role for the Gators in his final season as the starting punt returner on special teams. Pearsall mentioned how it’s a nerve-wracking position to play but knows he’s the right guy for the job and will take it over.

The Arizona native also looks to be lining up on the outside this year instead of working the slot position after proving to be a significant vertical threat downfield last season.

Returns would improve yeah . . . but Pearsall playing "outside this year instead of working the slot position?!?!" Wow! That would mean significant freshman involvement elsewhere.

But who's going to run the end around?

Who else besides Wilson will line up in the slot? Can’t see him starting from day-one.
