In the offense it is clear that better players get more snaps, but it might be a case of having to rely on a few good players vs spreading the snaps out among more good players on defense. The offense has 20% >= PFF 70 with a PFF std dev = 10.5 while the defense has 34% >= PFF 70 with a PFF std dev = 7.4.
It pissed me off that every time we threw the ball to Marcus Burke that DB got away with holding or pass interference. Not one call if you see the replay called in that game. Next time watch what happens when we target Burke.
Jackson, Tre, Pearsoll, Bordingham and the other TE seem to be dominating in the receiving corps. (Jackson was pretty sick.) I would hope to see a few more folks emerge after a week of getting healthy and some game-specific strategery. Etienne was hurt, him and Johnson need to produce, perhaps, more importantly, the line need to create opportunities to aide in their efforts. Pass and run blocking will be the difference-makers. Georgia will be quite the task. (Captain Obvious speaks again) They have the player's. Maybe they're dealing with the typical struggles a winning team deals with- staying up for lesser games and continuing their dominance. They are definitely off from last year but record dominant stats in all categories. Although, they have not won with the authority of last years team. See Vandy, Aubren and SCe. Planetary alignment and hopium rein supreme. "Take no prisoners!" Tiger Balm in their jocks!! Go Gators.
