Very pleased with Tejeda's outing. He seems to have settled down on the mound, walked only one with 4 Ks and had excellent movement on all his pitches- with FB toppping at 94 and a sharp late breaking slider and nice change-up I circled his name in the scrimmages as someone to watch as he develops. I think he will be in the mix for a weekend SP slot next year (along with Fisher) and may be a key contributor this post-season, if needed. Also have seen him play in the field in scrimmages and plays a pretty solid 1st base - big target- and has a good contact hitter's swing from the left side.
