Looks like a good one. Joining late, so perhaps challenging from a chemistry and playbook perspective but don’t see how you keep him off the court. Perhaps a lot of 3 guard rotations during game?
Wondering how to play all your guards or bigs seems like a good problem to have. Wasn’t it just a year or two ago we didn’t have enough quality players to scrimmage?
I love the pace that he plays with. Quick, purposeful movements and decisions. It's like he's playing with a 10-second shot clock. He's already a polished player, if he doesn't start for us he should get close to starter's minutes.
I believe that Klavzar’s team will be playing against Kublickas’s team sometime in the next several days. I would like to see these guys play full games before passing judgement on them. As for the quality of the pro league that Klavzar played in, I don’t have a clue, but I did see that the average player salary in that league is about $1,750 per month. So, most of the older players likely have full-time jobs while playing in this league on the side.
It sounds like Kublickas will be back, if all the "roster now complete" comments since Klavzar's signing are true. Or is there still a chance that he might stay in Lithuania. I'd be interested to see what kind of jump he makes too. It will be a very crowded backcourt next year. Either way, I love the way this roster looks on paper. Hopefully we can get the whole team together soon and start building chemistry
It is post number 2 from this thread: https://www.gatorcountry.com/swampgas/threads/gators-land-point-guard-urban-klavzar.610455/ But the full article he wrote, which was the link I posted earlier, has more. You have probably read it, but it is worth a second look if you have: Gators Land Point Guard Urban Klavzar | GatorCountry.com

Jeff save your money. get to Jacksonville on Nov.4 and see all the new Florida team. Should be a good game.
Trying to plan a quick trip to the game. See what is up. At least we will see talent in a real game and see who is as good as advertised. 24/25 Gators! Can’t hardly wait after we ran through the SEC tournament.
Box score. Slovenia won 69-62. Urban as team leader for "Efficiency" and rebounds. 3rd most minutes (22:39). Kajus had more minutes (25). Decent game, but 1 assist, 4 turnovers, 5 fouls is rough. Wonder if the player guarding him had anything to do with that.
At the 1:42:43 video mark gets into some jawing with a Slovenian player. Got a technical and I believe fouled out. From my very-amateur perspective: Kajus played point a lot, Urban didn't at all. Kajus looked good in transition, settling offense. Urban has a swashbuckler look, your eyes just gravitate to him, pesky on defense.
Watching some of that tape, Kajus doesn't look bad but Urban just looks better. He can get his shot off when he needs to. As for the venue, you get more fans at a middle school game in the US.
