I stand by my comment. If not by a conviction, then how do you propose the issue be decided? At the DNC convention?

to answer your question, because I’m not a P$$E that runs and hides: based upon the public information I have seen, Trump is indeed innocent of any criminal conduct related to Jan 6. I can say this because he did not commit a crime.

let me know if there are other questions I can answer for you.

oh, got it. Was the Northwestern University Dr an op ed or a poll. The NIH study by our govt…what was that? There are dozens and dozens of papers and studies on the internet on this topic. Probably over 100. You open your mouth and all that comes out are either lies or lame excuses. Educate yourself. Read something other than NPR, or Gender Studies Quarterly. There is a big world out there. Trump is only in your head.

    EDIT
oooh. A U of Michigan study on point. This must be fake news for nitwits

Crime is still historically low, except for impoverished areas.
Media hypes it to make it seem high.
GOP wants states to secede to form safe havens

Is it possible to secede from themselves? :D

    16 of the Top 25 (8 southern)

states by violent crime rates are "red states."

nice try, but you fail. Violent Crime is concentrated in urban area. As an example, Illinois crime statistics are about 90% Cook County, which is Chicago. Illinois, by county, is a red state. But Cook county has all the population.

Study after study show the top crime cities are run by democrats. But I don’t necessarily conclude that the political party matters. A strong argument can be made for liberal policies contributing to crime, but I think urban areas have more people, more poverty and more opportunity for crime, which IMO is just as likely to increase crime.

You're arguing a point that I didn't make and calling it a fail.

Call it for what it is, a strawman. But kudos to you, you killed it! :D

In any case, my comment was to WC's comment about states seceding to form safe havens. That's why I chose state violence rates.

Yes, crime is considerably more concentrated in urban areas. Literally always been the case, everywhere we've studied crime. More people, poverty and opportunity. Percent of young males 30 and under (more @ 16 - 40yo) is also a key factor, among others. Young males are severely over-represented in violent crime.

LOL. I'd think being indicted by a grand jury would indicate there was evidence of criminal activity. Do you think people typically get indicted by grand juries when there is no evidence of criminality?

    1. Yes. Happens all the time. 2. Trump hasn’t been indicted for anything related to Jan 6. 3. You can indict a ham sandwich.

That’s a lot of drama to distract yourself from being called out. You’re wrong about the level of violence in the US. You’re wrong about data not being opinion polls. And when we’re all still here in two years you’ll know you’re wrong about your OP too.

Yeah, I was saying if Trump was indicted that would be an indication of evidence of criminal activity. You apparently think it requires a conviction. But Trump has been indicted in a different case, the classified documents case. Do you think there's any evidence of criminal activity in that one?

well, if you say so. Send a tweet to Biden and tell him he needs to remove the government study supporting my position from the .gov web site. It’s fake, like his presidency.

well, one way to tell is to look at other prosecutions, convictions and acquittals and compare them. What other Presidents or high ranking govt officials have been prosecuted for document crimes? Post them. I’ll look them up, read the case study, and get back to you.

That's what I figured. You don't need to look at other cases, they have no bearing in this one. All you need to do is look at the available facts of this case. That's what you've done with the Jan 6 investigation and announced that Trump is unequivocally innocent of any crimes. Surely you can do that for the classified documents case and declare that he is innocent of any crimes there as well.

But to answer your question, yes other high ranking officials have been prosecuted for document crimes. David Petraeus comes to mind.

I don’t know, why don’t you tell me. You asked the questions. It seems you want to be just another partisan and spin the minute amount of alleged facts into your own partisan conclusion. Let’s let the Trump lawyers ask the questions and defend their innocent client.

Trump is absolutely and unequivocally innocent of any crimes. I know that doesn’t fit your Orange Man Bad narrative but that’s too bad. Let the hate consume you, because we all know that’s healthy.

So I'm spinning the facts but you declare him innocent before the trial.

It's a close race between what's worse--your trolling or your legal "knowledge."
