Ya think? Maybe because it shows a deficiency in S&C, and general grind but I think he will be back in after a few bad series or maybe a game. Needs a wake up.

I don’t really follow NFL but seems like part of the process. He’s needs to humble himself. “Take me out I’m tired” almost sounds like “Take me out, I have a nail appointment” to me. Either hit the gym or get you effin ass back on the field. The 350lb lineman trying to protect you is probably lifting 100s daily to protect you and you’re too tired to stand behind him and maybe run a little. Sure I couldn’t do it but I’m not getting millions to do it either.

Said as a reason to make a point or to making a point with what a competitor says way to make a point, this wraps it up. Well said!

I just watched the Dodgers win game 5 against the Yankees is slick style was for this reason. Hurt talent all over the field but “want to” and DESIRE rose them against all else. Off topic sorta but to your point watching that Dodger team was eye welling!

Absolutely believe he won’t see the field unless Flacco gets hurt or late in the year if Colts out of playoff chase. Flacco has been the much better QB this season.

I like AR and was hopeful when he got to the league. I like him less after some of the comments he has made. He sounds like someone who thinks they can just show up. That won’t work in the league.

I had said prior to the draft that AR was not a good QB and would be better suited for a TE position. Got tons of bacon for saying that but ya'll know bacon is delicious. His inconsistency and penchant for getting hurt was imo a huge issue. Frankly I was shocked he got drafted that high. Evidently teams are more enamored by front flips than actually playing the position. No doubt colts are having buyers remorse. I'm glad the guy was a gator, I like him, but he is not an NFL qb.

Always going to be that. His game are long passes + great runs versus generally terrible passing. That could be a highly productive combo at the right mix. Adding 10% to high completion percentage he’s still be near the bottom but it would be a very good year.

It just looks different and bad while looking different is not a good thing

We've piled on him pretty good but one thing to remember is that AR is the youngest starting QB in the NFL. Hopefully he gets the instruction and coaching needed to help him have a healthy and sustainable NFL career.

He's a Gator and proudly showed for us in the NCAA basketball tournament game vs Colorado.

Yeah I don't have any animosity for the kid and wish we would take the high road more often when his name pops up. He was frustrating as a fan because his potential always seemed hindered by his own work ethic and desire. He's young and immature and made some comments he would have been better off keeping to himself. I'm not sure it's possible to improve as much as he needs to though as the NFL has chewed up and spit out much better qbs with much more experience.

Agree with so much of this...
I saw the immaturity while he was at UF and that was 1 reason I thought he would have benefitted by staying.
I know about the crazy money and if he was my son I probably would have told him to go- just too much money to say no.

The NFL needs a minor league where a guy like AR can develop...

Only one that comes immediately to mind that started and sucked, got benched and then revived his career many years later is Geno Smith on the Seahawks. Was drafted for pretty much the same reasons as AR too. It CAN be done, but not likely going to happen

Eh, they already skip games they don't feel like playing in college. This is a logical next step.

France beat me to it. In both cases they played way more football at lower levels than Richardson has. I imagine they had much more of a foundation to grow from. Also, I don't think either qb had a good situation around when they made the NFL. Just compounds the issue of developing a qb when your whole team sucks as well.

Loved watching the Yankees looking like the Keystone Cops there in the 5th. They lost the game right there and it was half self-inflicted. LMAO

Watching that first Utah game I couldn’t believe what a quarterback we’d landed. It was like WOW.
That’s why the way it turned out pisses me off still. What it could have been for him and us.

Maybe. I don’t follow the NFL too much anymore. Geno has been in the league a lot longer though which is why I remember him

I have a half dozen fantasy football teams and not a one has AR on the roster. Not that I dislike him -- just that, as a Gator, I know better. Comedy gold to see him going in the third round of fantasy drafts.
