If I were to expect any sort of real growth, then I could also rationally expect a 10 win season. Let's hope that is realized next hear.
When you have a D.J Lagway you have to take advantage of that window, they don’t grow on trees. If we don’t win a title or at least play in one in the next two years. It’s a unilateral failure. What’s the point if it’s not to win when you have the QB?
He may or may not have tried to hire Muschamp. You cant make anyone take a job. Im sure many things go on behind the scenes and we dont know much about it.
Vegas hasn't gotten it right yet. Last year I predicted 7-8 wins while Vegas predicted 3.5. This year I'm going out on a limb and predicting 9. Can't wait to find out how that goes.
And both were tooth and nail. We won those games with heart and playing really hard. We didnt out talent them or anything. Hopefully DJ makes a big leap if we are to beat ranked teams on the road.
It was also a failure for Brian Kelly no way not making a playoff with Daniels, Nabors, and Thomas should be considered a success.
Just as I expected, one of your silly gifs. It’s one of the factors, along with others, just as I listed and linked an article talking about just that. Keep up. You can take your stupid c.o.m. and…..
Mun about 50 guys to play snaps and it matters after the first three good ones. Kelly will be judged in the next few years as he has his own players there. Still have to get a great quarterback to win though because the playoffs this year didn't have any, but that's not very common.
I'm torn. I define success by at minimum winning the East. IF we knew Napier was never going to do that, he should be dismissed now IF we had a real winner available and ready. But we can't see the future and it's difficult to make a change, and would be even if we had not had a great end to the season. Most of his history here suggests he will never get over the hump and will be mediocre. It's also depressing to imagine that some games will be lost next season because our staff and HC didn't seize the opportunity for victory when it was there to take. But, we as fans are stuck. I do hope I am wrong. Winning is fun and the run we went on end of season was exhilarating. I'm buzzing right now remembering our D smashing through and ripping LSU a new one. Oh poor poor Chip Kelly
I like what you’re saying Die, but my point is suggesting that “most of his history here” spells doom primarily because the first 2 years dominate that history. I’m not sure why you suggest that we will never win the East under Napier. The Gator team that played the last 4 games of this past season could have made a run at the East. Especially when you allow yourself to consider we were awfully close to beating Tennessee and Ga while we were in the early stages of turning last season around. I honestly think it’s more realistic to look at this past season when predicting the future and not put much weight on the two seasons that preceded it. Now, if we slip back to 5 or 6 wins next season then I’m right there with you
Not really saying Napier cannot win the East, he should. Saying IF we knew now he would never win the East and a much better HC were available now, it would be better to move on. We cannot see the future, so we are stuck and have to see how it plays out.
If we knew Billy would never win the East of course we would let him go, no matter who else is available.
You don't seem to be able to "keep up" with your own claims despite the quote being right there. Not sure what a "c.o.m." is but I suspect it doesn't add to your argument.
I am saying that Billy will NEVER win the East, I guarantee it. Mainly because there IS no East anymore. The SEC did away with the East and West Divisions at the end of the 2023 season.
I’m done with you bro, your schtick is no fun. The OC is part of it, not all of it, just like I said. Are you really that dense?? You don’t like anyone questioning or being critical of the staff. You did this same nonsense in the game threads. Instead of commenting on the action, you would mostly go from post to post, dropping bacon, a stupid c’mon man (c.o.m.) or one of your goofy gifs. If only you were half as witty as you think you are.
Your analysis of my posting is as poor as your analysis of the staff situation. Now the claim is that I "don't like anyone questioning or being critical of the staff," which is verifiably untrue. Just because you made a bad argument doesn't mean I'm some sort of ardent defender of the staff. If you make a good argument you'll find nobody takes issue with criticism of the staff so long as it's not nonsense.
