This statement doesn't give me hope. "All of a sudden it's 17-3, 24-3," Florida second-year head coach Billy Napier said Monday, "that affects the approach you take." But, after reviewing the tape from Florida's demoralizing, season-opening defeat against then-No. 14 Utah, Napier acknowledged a critical flaw in his game plan, an error in judgement that likely impacted his team's offense before the scoreboard heavily favored one side: He didn't run the ball enough. Not at all. "I think ultimately, for me, looking back at it, that's something we could have been a little bit more committed to," he said. "There's no doubt about it." But hey...he actually said he has a plan.
Could the plan be who comes back from injury or starts in lieu: Hudson (George had multiple penalties and a sack given up and tons of pressures; a 4 year starter in Hudson cannot be worse than that) Waites (just throwing this out there; I have no inclination he can help but George has to be buried far down the depth chart with so many penalties and whiffing blocks) Eguakun (Slaughter gave up a sack and had penalties, and gave up pressures, as does Eguakun at times, but I am not sold Slaughter can be an every down C in the SEC) Harris (I love Leonard's energy, desire and love for the Gators, but it hurts me to say he gets blown up too much by good DL, and we need to get ready for the future now) Boardingham (Odom gave up a sack and pressures and any warm bodied mammal could make the catches he made and make yards in tons of space; if your father is an OL you must know how to block; gotta move onto the upside talent asap). Webb (Etienne ... just kidding, but he did give up a terrible sack with no effort at perhaps the most critical juncture of the game and didn't look like himself regardless of the poor blocking) Livingston (Zander's weight loss didn't help. He is still at glacial speed. He should only be an extra OT). I hope we get some guys back from injury.
I’m hoping these guys on our line are adjusting to the zone blocking . Just a misstep or off-timing a little bit misstep creates the t player getting blown up maybe. Hai is is tge one I’m hoping will step in for more snaps.

Utah showed we are playing for the next two years. I would like to see him early to get him ready for next year. Maybe Barber, Harris, Kearney, Farmer/Williams/transfer, and Waites can resurrect a bad OL.
Hopefully they aren’t that bad and it was just a first game thing in a new system. Maybe they can at least be average sec which is still pretty good.
If you go by the current AP poll rankings, FSU's toughest opponent left on their schedule is... Duke!
