If she did anything unethical, hold her accountable. At the same time, don't use it as a deflection for the misdeed of others, but we all know "they" will.
I assume the Committee is bi-partisan but not sure if the decision has to be unanimous or requires a super majority or something. If she took a gift she wasn't supposed to by accepting an invitation to the Gala (which is what I've read thus far), then the Democrats are right to support the process.
I read where it is a non-partisan panel that recommends this and it started last June, so the recent election had nothing to do with it.
If she did something she isn't supposed to then she needs to be punished. May this go for everyone in congress
Just a reminder from the Committee itself. By the way this may be the source of the investigation: If I recall a big deal was made over the expensive designer outfit that AOC wore to the gala and it turned out that the so called gift was actually loaned not given to to her and was returned after the gala. Could be something else but if that's the reason for the investigation it will turn out to be a whole lot of nothing.
