#36 is not unreasonable. That's an NCAA-caliber level, but not a high seed. An 8 or a 9, maybe. About what many of us expect. I expect a higher seeding but I'm the eternal optimist.

Since it is a printed magazine I can say that this preseason polls is not worth the paper it is printed on.

The other polls posted on line aren't worth much either but maybe fewer trees died.

Preseason polls are pretty much meaningless.

We will end up in the top 25 before it is over.
Too much talent to do less.

Do these rags produce any new info? Do they spell and fact check better than the rest of the digital hacks that call themselves sportswriters?

Print content probably produced around the Fourth of July. Get it while it's hot.

Lindy’s wasn’t real high on the Gators, didn’t even have us in his top transfer classes article. We Gators should have a big chip on our shoulders. Now let’s earn the respect these guys have pour into their lives and deserve better. Hopefully we jell into a cohesive team early knock off Pitt, Baylor, Duke in these preseason tournaments, now that would get some national attention….

I still get the paper version of the Gainesville Sun. Mostly by inertia.

The sports writing is terrible especially about Gator football. Many start out "Three things". I am guessing somebody took an online class about how to write a sports column and is following the template.

And the only women's volleyball column we have had all season was from a national USA Today sportswriter before the Wisconsin match. NOTHING local.

Yeah our volleyball deserves so much more press than they receive.
Mary wise will get a NC and could go down as best coach in Gator History.
