Coach Golden sure hasn't avoided strong competition for the non-conference schedule.

 

This was great. Few things stood out;
1) Clayton: better on the ball and handling ball screens than they expected; also very competitive and vocal.
2) Pullin: high volume pick and roll guy (2nd highest rate in the country!); hits mid rangers at a high clip (50%)
3) Stretch four: mentioned spacing the floor at the four, which likely means he thinks Jarvis can hit his threes and also we will play some small ball with Richard there and all four guards together (Pullin, Clayton, Kugel, Richard)
4) Edgar: never not painful

 

I might be missing something, but what’s number four about?

For me it's always been about watching whatever sport I can between football season.

Basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, are all favs of mine --- but one has always been VERY important for me and that's Le Tour....which starts on July 1 and runs 3 freaking weeks!

 

Heck, I'm already ready for football season to be over. More optimistic about hoops this year.

 

It has been an awesome one so far. Best since 1989.

I think that the Tuesday time trial and the lumpy mountain stage on the penultimate day will decide the GC winner.

Yesterday certainly made it very likely that Jonas would win the Tour but today was a total surprise. It is over unless there is a bad crash or a bad drug test. I am not hoping for either.

Looking forward to the early season games more than previous seasons.

I enjoy reading about the new players in the off season, but with the high percentage turnover, it is tough to put names, faces and games together until I can see them on the court together.

 

It's like reading a book and then seeing the movie!
