My understanding was that he was the one who led the exodus. I kinda enjoyed him, he did go out of his way to anger the people who own the place.

This is correct. 2007 is the default date for anyone here longer than that because of a server/software switch. No one will show older than that. Mine says 2007 but I joined when Zook joined. Ya'll should fired me with him in 2004 lol

I'm sure he's not giving you much thought. He was one of the better posters on TH.

He's a self proclaimed chauvinist. He literally calls himself that in his profile. As a husband and dad of two daughters I resent that mindset.

He said some of the nastiest things about people I've ever seen posted. (Yours truly included). He almost got booted from THAT board which is very hard to do.

Here's a little news flash. He is also a liability and one of the reasons that board went to pay only. They wanted his crap under wraps.

His posting consists of Simpson memes and vulgar attacks on anyone different then him.

He talks all tough about censoring posters and then fills the mods inboxes crying about how mean posters are to him.

He's the little wizard behind the curtain. Aka a fraud.

I've already know how feel about him, That's between you and him. I personally thought he was one of the better posters we had on here and I still feel that way that way. Most of the posters that he went after they deserved it.
You and I disagree on this that I know so we'll just leave it at that

Meh. Just leaving it at that isnt good enough.

This site and its owner didnt deserve the the made up slander he spewed out and his bravado from behind his curtain needs exposed too. He said one thing here, flexing and talking crap and whined like a crybaby behind the scenes when his wittle bitty feelwings got hurt.

And the crap he says about women is ban worthy enough.

And I'm sure someone will tell him about this and he will cry about it behind their pay walled echo chamber. Trust me. Their admin feel the same about him.

I used to really enjoy his take on different kinds of music in the late 90's. Man I'm getting old.

I'll agree with you that GGG was one of the best posters. Brilliant, engaging, entertaining, compelling....

...but a taste of what lied beyond the posts, was enough for me to really not want much to do with him.

Everybody's got a bit of crazy to them...most know how to contain theirs (the difference between whom we actually call crazy, and the rest of us...).

IMHO, Somewhere along the way though, the line between posting and real world got blurred for him. Now that said, the last I checked before the paywall, I got an inclination that he had come to some sort of realization along those lines--I hope so (I sincerely hope he's matured a bit with age, found a women to love, maybe be blessed with kids to ground him and provide perspective...) but I really don't need to know, nor do I really care. Frankly, for as entertaining as his posting was, and as crappy as this place has become, I'm glad he found a new home. I really don't miss him. C'est la vie.

    jmho/fwiw.
