Well he wasn’t happy for some reason and moms was talking a bit of trash on the way out. Not sure, but Ethan’s always been a good kid to me. Idk
I just really appreciated his journey & was disappointed that he left. He represented UF well on & off the field. No one knows, except the principal parties involved, but it seemed enough to rile up his Mom & caused him to leave. Wish him well, wherever he ends up. I just wish it hadn’t come to what it has. Our O-Line would be better with him in the group.
Yea I think he’s water under the bridge at this point. Don’t think we’ll get him back and not sure our coaches want him.
I was very disappointed to see him leave UF. But now he left there too? Have to question if the young man is a head case? He’s welcome back, but does BN want him back? I don’t want to see him throw away a good career.
‘Mom stay out of it” 5 words. But no. mom disses the current coaches in a farewell tweet by snubbing them. Now Ryan is left holding the bag. Was it worth it Ryan? We shall see where he lands. PS Hevesy wasn’t all that
Not sure what the issue was with the coaching staff. ' 'White made all-sec second team last year and his guard running mate ia heading to a big pay day as a first or early second round pick. His starting spot here was virtually guaranteed here and a year from now he'd be on his way to the NFL.
Did his mom really bad mouth us or was it just her not thanking the current staff (which was petty and I'm sure intentional)?
I suspect mom was the issue, but who knows? He bailed on USC also for some reason. I was sorry to see him go; thought he was a good kid with a bright future.
I agree completely. Some on this board were complimentary of her when Ethan was a Gator but I was put off by her attention seeking persona. Sorry if I offend, but that is how I perceived her. Can't imagine it was not embarrassing for Ethan.
bad mouth, no. 12/24/22 Always a #gatormom and we will always be #Gators first and foremost, THANK YOU @CoachDanMullen @CoachHevesy and all the fans
Thought I read a quote from Lincoln Riley on another site that said it was some type of injury situation and he was not sure if White would continue playing football.
Just saw that. Looks like a career ending injury. How tragic if so. Hope he has been hitting the books, but what a blow. Wish him well.
I must have missed that part where she threw shade on the Gators, but I do hope Ethan lands in a good place. He seems like a good/decent young man.
I hope he had an insurance policy in the event of a career ending injury, but in this era of NIL, I have to wonder if that came with the USC offer.
Any idea when this possible career ending injury occurred? Could he have played injured last season and not been happy about it, hence putting himself in the portal to begin with? No blame being passed, just speculating.
