Players who try their best do not throw the ball into the stands on 4th and long at the end of the game just to avoid a meaningless interception on their stat sheet.

I’m sure Brady had a low ceiling too. I have no idea what these so called pros think they are looking at when they see a qb and they don’t either.

AR didn’t carry us to wins often. He did vs Utah and had a great effort against Tennessee and FSU but was bad in others that he could have been the difference. Our defense was terrible but should be better this year. Great rbs but without the qb run threat nor a great passing game, it’s going to be tough to move the ball, especially on the better defenses. We should have won eight games last year. AR has the potential to be a great qb but he wasn’t close to great last year.

Tbh, if I was a GM, as if there weren't already enough red flags in his play at the collegiate level, this letter would seal it for me. No chance I'm putting my credibility on the line for someone who sounds like a desperate girl begging for a date. This letter is very awkward. Especially for a guy many are projecting as a 1st rounder. 1st round picks don't beg. Their resumes speak for themselves, along with the workouts and combine. As a GM, I might take a flyer on him in the 6th or 7th round. But even then, I'd know deep down I'm wasting a pick. Whoever told him this was a good idea should be let go.

So your preseason prediction was 8-4?

Doesn't matter what he predicted. He's correct that, as it played out, there were 8 wins to be had.

Can you let him answer the question?

Actually it happens more than you think. Individual performance for all positions are correlated to team success. Better teammates = better performance which is either a great or awful cycle to be in. But yes there are many many players out there that had merely good seasons on awful teams that end up getting drafted highly

11 QBs get drafted every year on average. Start rattling off all the ones you know that did as the 40th and beyond best D1 QBs please.

Will Levis was 61st in 2022 and is now projected to be the #2 pick. AR isn’t even the guy with the biggest production to draft gap this year!

Dude, did you really just say it happens more than I think and then only name 1 person that hasn’t even been drafted yet? :emoji_clap::emoji_clap::emoji_clap:

Levis had a good completion percentage but other than that was rather bleh. Team had a hot start, then lost 5 of its last 8 (including an L to Vandy) and the offense looked dreadful at times. Their defense held almighty Georgia to 16 points but the offense could only muster up 6. He also opted to sit out his teams bowl game to prepare for the draft, however I’m sure UK fans were understanding of that decision. He’ll be their highest drafted QB since Tim Couch and they’re very proud of him.

AR performed much better than Levis. Both are projected way higher than their performance.

Levis now has a good shot at first overall and is projected at number 2. According to the money.

I don’t get the Levis hype. AR has potential and measurables. Levis performed worse and has worse measurables (although still legit)

Levis is an unfortunate combination of total weirdo and certified douchebag. I don't think he'll have much of a pro career. Connor Cook 2.0

I've been negative toward AR on this thread and other places.
But to be clear- I would definitely draft AR ahead of Levis.
I don't get his first round grade either.

AR decided to finish something and not just leave a giant mess behind him at the first opportunity? Awww. That’s nice …

Yeah he helped clean up the huge mess other people created to the best of his ability, even when it wasn’t entirely his fault. Very commendable indeed.
