There have been several well known cases of false accusations of rape. They absolutely ruin the guy’s life. Women who make false accusations of such a nature need to face the same penalty the man would face if found guilty.

And the company that threw him under the bus and fired him before the facts were available should pay for damaging him. Fire if you want to, but there need to be civil consequences for the employer when the employee didn't deserve it. Their reputation is damaged, and that has value.

 

I dont think you understand how at-will employment works, you can fire people who dont deserve to be fired. In fact, that probably covers most people who have been let go from their jobs.
