The last thing I want is to give voters less power and the politician a-holes more power. But by all means, if you are happy with the performance of the politicians, feel free to advocate for them to have more power.

And yet, I don't know of a better form of governance. I'd rather have hundreds of millions of average voters deciding who represents us in making the big decision than having a small group of people or a single person making the decisions about how our government is run.

I read he article. As far as her identity morphing around the edges, that isn’t terribly unusual for politicians. I don’t see it as a big deal. As to her all of a sudden being a far right candidate, just about half of republicans these days are acting inconsistently with prior political leanings. It happens with Democrats too, Kirsten Sinema being the most notable example.
