Are you suggesting we play for 5? Impact on recruiting is crucial. You have to show UF as a viable program. The best recruits aren't looking to play for cellar dwellers. It is a balancing act. I get what you are suggesting, but I think Rashada would be better served playing backup to an experienced quarterback. Notice I bolded the word playing. CBN would need to purposefully work Rashada into games during meaningful minutes, not clean up time.

Perhaps you should slow down and read up on Hartman. Plain as grits he is not. He would serve as a great transition quarterback to someone like Rashada. This would allow Rashada to transition to Division 1 football, without being permanently shell shocked. I'm thinking about the long game and current recruiting. You have to balance both.

Just depends where Rashada is as a qb. What kind of coaching has he had up until now. He could be one of those tgat are ready to step in. Klubnik and Clemson may have been better off had he symtaryed earlier. It’s not always about immediate wins and losses. Klubnik may be closer for a title run next year had he started earlier. The other kid that lost his job was a waste of time. Why prepare a guy for future demotion. I get it that Clemson was playing for a playoff spot but just maybe they should have went with the freshman. It’s all hindsight but we aren’t going to win a title next year. If Rashada made big strides next year and he looked like the man by the end, not many would be very worried about what happened early in the year.

Utah at Utah might be a tough one. They gained momentum at the end of the season. We frizzled. But help is on the way...but 8 wins would be a win!

    Go Gators.

But he reclassified because he is older. I think he’s already 19

DT and RB are the two positions where an exceptional true freshman can expect to play immediately.
