Memo: NBA loosens rules on scouting HS players Perhaps the start of the end of the One and Done era...or just an exploited loophole, but to some it seems the age limit restrictions will soon be a thing of the past if the players get their way
The rule has never been about the sanctity of the NBA. It has always been about silly owners who covet HS players and wanted to sign them to silly stupid contracts. And to who I think are prime examples of the way it is supposed to be: Garnett and Bryant. They were signed and they sat at the end of the bench. They weren't good enough, and their contracts said so. This isn't those times. You sign them to HUGE contracts.
