Well the Miami DC was quoted by Ali Peek as saying, he looked at last year's games and wrote down the 5 or 6 most used plays and sure enough the first 4 Napier called were all in that list. From that point on he called the defensive plays based on our formation.

Very good opening comments by Andy Staples. Also says that Billy suffers from paralysis through Analysis and that is thought process is too slow to keep up with the Saban’s and Kirbys’ of the is world. Thankfully, no Ky coaches were named.

Napier’s imaginative play calling doesn’t exist. Reminds me of students turning in a siblings’ work from yesteryear and trying to pass it off as “exciting and new”.
Hmmmm, wonder if BN is aware of Miami’s DC’s quote?

I would think 14 years in the NFL under multiple offensive coordinators and the most expensive coaching staffs in football gave him a fantastic education. You can be sure part of the reason he stayed around so long was because of the insight and advice he could give his fellow quarterbacks and offense of players what he was seeing both in practice and in games. I would be willing to bet his knowledge base could not be matched if you coached 100 years in high school football.
I don’t know if he can coach a lick, but hard to question his knowledge base.

Admittedly, I have hardly listened to many radio broadcasts. I would be more inclined to do so if Shane was as objectively blunt on the air as he his during his podcast.

Same tired, old complaining over & over & over for a single play, no positive analysis as to why a coach might run this, just the same negative bias. I just can't watch him anymore.

I’m sure they can give him an offer he can’t refused, but not many suitors at the moment. I’m not questioning what he knows, but he hasn’t proven that he’s a Kerwin yet.

Just watched the first half of our defense. I don’t believe we set the edge one time.

they review nearly every single play. It isn’t their fault that when we got our butts whooped the majority of plays, by offense and defense, are going to be negative. That isn’t bias. When any team gets crushed there will be more negative than positive plays. This specific play that you posted was an interception. What should they do…post how awesome the throw was? Great routes? Good arm strength? The great blocking by the o line?

I have watched many of their game reviews /film reviews. When Florida is rolling the film reviews are mostly positive
. When Florida plays like garbage - which pretty much every media rep in the nation viewed our game - it will be negative.

The people here who hated him were the sunshine pumpers. They hated anyone who saw the light before they did. Now they are on the dark side

    The three
losing seasons didn’t go unnoticed by anyone. Just listening to the continuous bitching is annoying as hell. We all see the scoreboard and nobody likes it.

Then they shouldn’t listen to a pod that is going to analyze a game and the team. Are analysts supposed to lie and make us seem better than we are?
