The biggest problem isn’t that opinions are not verified, but that nightly news shows once credible and not overly biased have become rabbit hole infomercials for either the left or the right.

 

YouTube should only be used for travel videos and learning how to program your thermostat.

 

Any minor car or home repairs typically has good YouTube videos.

There are plenty of legitimate news stories that can be found on YouTube. Of course, if you are a moron, you will find the moronic stuff.

Just want to get this straight (because I have zero interest in watching the video), Kasparian's point is that pundits on other news program don't do their research, but she's not part of the problem? Because she's one of the rare few who actually has "informed" opinions? Yeah, I'm going to disagree 100% with the latter point.

(Also, if you're looking to the political pundits on cable "news" for your facts, you're naïve imo. What those people do is "entertainment" for partisans who want somebody to preach to their choir.)

Right wingers love to pretend that their views are not more ascendent because they're being censored, as opposed to the fact that their policy positions do not bear up to logical scrutiny. We've heard it, and rejected it, on its merits.
