The abortion issue is very interesting to me. I like most Republicans I know are NOT in favor of non exception abortions. I believe most Americans are comfortable with a 15 week window, a woman should be able to know by then if she wants the baby or not. I also believe we are very receptive to abortion in the case of RAPE, INCEST, or HEALTH of the MOTHER. The Dems have been mostly disingenuous when they claim otherwise. The issue that doesn't seem to stick to the Dems and I believe most Americans are against is abortion after the heart beat has been detected and infanticide. I shudder when I hear certain Dems say it should be a mother's choice to kill a baby up until birth and in some cases even after birth. Where are the moderate Dems standing up and saying that is unacceptable. I wish every Politician is obligated to claim their exact stand on the issue and then let the people at the state level decide which they prefer. The Supreme court did the exact right thing by overturning Roe v Wade and referring the issue to the individual States as even Ruth Bader Ginzburg acknowledged it was an unconstitutional law and would someday be overturned. The Dems are very good at holding onto one issue and then painting a very untrue picture of their opponents position with the help of a very biased mainstream media. It would be nice to see Dems find another issue to run on and stand accountable for their policies that affect Americans everyday lives.
If you want to be honest would you be ok with the government deciding these things for your wife or daughters.
Sorry but what does that even mean. I don't think most Republicans are hiding behind Roe. What I feel is that extreme liberal Dems were trying to take Roe to whole new level. I also believe extreme conservatives are trying to take advantage to make laws that are not in the mainstream of Americans thinking. We are allowing the extreme members of both parties to take over the narrative. At some point the moderates on both sides need to step up and come up with a law that makes sense to the masses not the fringe.
Ok how would you feel if your wife decided to kill the baby upon birth after you decided to keep it for 9months because she changed her mind. We can all make extreme examples
it ain’t that complicated. It is easy to talk tough when you don’t have to back it up. A lot of pubs care about unborn babies UNTIL it threatens them politically. Ballsy
Any man who is 'very interested' in abortion sets off a lot of alarm bells, I didnt even have to read further to know where it was going
15 weeks is the new Abortion is Murder! guess that’s why our new Pro Abortion poster needs to claim stuff about killing kids after birth…lol
No I would not and I would discuss with my wife or daughter to make a decision before the fetus becomes a viable life. Now you be honest, would you want your wife to just abort your viable child, that you both decided to keep, in the third trimester of her pregnancy without your input.
I'm not sure why you posed this question to me when my quoted comment had nothing to do with parental communication or rights.
Winner winner chicken dinner. I think that these medical decision are none of my business. They are decisions to be made by the woman with the advice of her practitioner. If she has a healthy relationship with the sperm donor than I would hope that she would talk to him about it, but it is her body and her choice
Oh, good lord. 2/3 of Republicans think the 2020 election was stolen. Obama care means grandma has to die - death panels. Republicans frequently label opposition to one of their ideas as Socialism MTG says Dems are trying to kill Rs Dems just want free stuff - cell phone, health care, college, welfare, food stamps Dems want to kill babies Dems worship government Dems hate America Don’t think I need to go on. Some members of both parties think the worst of members of the other party. Your post being case in point.
Well my wife seems fine with it. I'll lean to her. As for my daughters, the government already limits what they can do, we are all just debating where the line is.
