It's a cult because people believe anything Trump says regardless if it's true. They may think Trump is listening to them but he doesn't care about them. He cares about Trump. He cares about people to the extent that they're useful to them and then he discards them (see: essentially every person he's hired since he started in government).

Also, Mr. Finger on the Pulse of the People here got trounced by write-in votes for Biden who wasn't even on the ballot.

Half of America is lost to Fox News or worse disinformation. The mainstream media is owned by the ultrarich and is anything but progressive. We are, as a society, constantly bombarded by right-wing talking points and thinking. This is why so few are willing or able to recognize economic reality with most being happy (or, really angry) to vote against their own economic interests.

 

"Fair and balanced" they are most definitely not. The Dominion damages should have been 10x higher - enough to put those scum out of business.
