I stayed up all night and saw the election theft while it was happening. We know Trump won it in 2020.

I know how you feel. I watched the FSU game this year and we were winning 12-7 at halftime and, sure enough, saw the theft while it was happening when they counted the points in the second half for an FSU win.

Charging him for crimes he committed is the right thing to do and it doesn't matter if that means he becomes more popular.

I think the immunity is earned when you have 91 felony counts and the people still elect you to high office. After all, our nation’s laws are born from its democratic process. If the people elect him, we call that a mandate and he would have our blessing to effectively pardon himself. You can go cry in the corner now.

I remember when the Founding Fathers considered the possibility of making the country based on "rule of law" or some such nonsense, but fortunately they settled on "mob rule". Screw the courts, and their knowledge of "legal matters" and "laws"; just let the people decide what they want to believe. If the ignorant masses want a dictator, or even a "Hitler" figure, just give them what they want. If a con-man can convince enough people that he is their savior, just put him in charge for as long as he can draw a breath. What could go wrong?

    . . . Cult of Personality.

BTW, if you want to do away with our system of courts and justice (or make them selectively applied to some people, and not others), there is a democratic process for that: a constitutional amendment. Please show us the constitutional amendment that allows a president to commit crimes with immunity. And, no, a president cannot pardon himself. Nixon asked that question, and the answer was "no". There is no exception for when a president thinks that he has the population's "blessing". A blessing to do something is not a legal concept that holds up in a court of law. Bless your heart. Sounds like you are going to be the one crying in the corner. My advice: try not to follow your insurrectionist leader into prison. He'll discard you like an old shoe.

Exactly. Some of the mafia bosses (like Al Capone) in the old days were very popular with the masses, even though they killed quite a few people. They still had to go to prison for their crimes. The fact that people would find Trump a more attractive leader after he's been charged with 91 crimes is fairly sickening. Fortunately, these sycophants were not part of the adult population when Nixon was impeached. You really have to wonder when these people will grow up.

They really can't help it. It's been an effective high level psy op from the beginning. Only Scientology type deprogramming could possibly help them.

“The government you elect is the government you deserve.”
    ― Thomas Jefferson

If We the People are stupid enough to put Drumpf back in office, then we'll get exactly what we deserve as a result.

What if “ we the people” was the problem. What if the people are Drumpfer than Drumpf ?

I'm still waiting to hear what the bad results were under Trump's 1st term in office. We now have major bank CEOs coming out and all but saying times were better during Trump's 1st term.

The result of re-electing Biden will be more inflation, more alienation of the middle class, more of whomever is running the show behind the curtains.

    Wrong on every count.

    - Inflation was global and primarily driven by COVID-driven supply chain disruption and price increases on items priced according to inelastic demand
    - Inflation is back down to historic norm
    - Equities are at all-time highs with performance under Biden far outperforming what happened under Drumpf
    - Unemployment claims remain at all-time lows
    - Wage increases are once again outpacing inflation.

Middle class white grievances are largely driven by fear - fear of the "other," fear of perceived loss of social status, etc.

    Try again.

I'm not the person you need to convince. You'll need to convince the majority of Americas who say Biden's handling of the economy has been shit. A 37% approval rating puts you in a distinct minority of thinkers:

I’m consistently on record for my disdain for libbies.
I think my distaste for Trump is getting pretty close to that.
