I thought whatever happened on the president’s watch is the president’s fault? Did that rule suddenly change?

 

If it’s a phone-in prankster it could be anyone, from a dumbass teenager to a disgruntled employee. Hopefully if it’s connected they get to the bottom of it. I’d tend to think they probably get lots of “pranks” that don’t cause them to emergency land and disembark passengers, so I’d wonder why they took those steps here? Usually you assume an emergency landing is for an unruly passenger on board or that there is a credible threat.
