    Right on point with all of that. The guy that was hurt to stop the clock, saving Texas 40 seconds, had been playing with a bad foot most of the game. They showed him limping around on the sidelines a couple of times. Running him up the middle risked the ball being stripped as well. Why not just have Penix keep the ball and take a knee when a defender got near him? Turned out well in the end, but it sure didn't have to be tense like it ended up.

    OT: I posted this in the NC championship discussion thread too so more would see it . . . but I watched on one of the ESPN channels (not ESPN main) and got the main camera angle from behind the plays from the broadcast but NO announcers and just stadium noise like you're there (PA announcer, etc.). It was great, IMO. I'll look for it for the national championship game.
