Cute and arguably money misspent you think it justifies the shutdown of an agency that purchases $1.8 billion is agricultural products from US farmers or treats communicable diseases in third world countries before they can spread to the US? I would also add that a lot of the beneficiaries of USAID grants are faith-based organizations, further adding that I recall conservatives especially religious conservatives arguing that such organizations are a more effective vehicle for providing assistance than the government itself.
