And which one of them mentions illegal immigrants except to grant birthright citizenship?

One good thing about this - it’s all on maga. Our gov is POTUS, congress, scotus, musk. Maga blindly follows Trump - breaking our gov, his method of gov on a whim - and the results are on them. No more excuses or trying to pass the buck. Or, they get all the credit and were correct that Trump really is brilliant person.

I do have concerns about Musk, but after four years of President Soros, a President Musk is a welcome relief.

It's ok to audit departments, to work with those in charge to make cuts. To burn it to the ground overnight when lives and people's livelihoods are at stake is disgusting. Mark my words, others will step in and take away our influence in the world because of our inability to give a shit.

I don't trust Trump or Musk, or anyone with a giant ideological ax to grind.

I have no doubt there is inefficiencies in USAid as in any large gov org. But DO NOT trust what musk and trump claim. (See post above, #201)

Yes. I am against enforcing unjust laws. What's unconstitutional about this opinion? Nothing. I also advocate for the Executive to use their discretion when enforcing what I believe to be unjust about our immigration laws. I have no issue with deporting those who have committed serious crimes after they have been convicted and served their time. I don't find that unjust. But splitting families to deport someone living and working here for years while never committing a serious crime? That's not just.

Now, I can't stop ICE from deporting undocumented immigrants. It is the law today. Nothing unconstitutional about saying said law is unjust, supporting those who break it, and lobbying for better laws to replace the unjust ones.

One the other hand, what gives President Musk constitutional authority to gut agencies being funded by Congress? Is this not unconstitutional? So why are you supporting something that is blatantly unconstitutional?

Musk heard about USAID from an alt-right guest speaker on a podcast, so the accusations and conclusions must be true.

Deep dive into USAID by Mike Benz. Why the Angel's halo had to be broken. Why some functions of USAID must be retained. Marco Rubio wildly exceeding expectations. US will no longer fund terrorists or the heroin trade in Afghanistan. And much more. 1 hour 45 min video

Agree that there are inevitable inefficiencies and probably some entire projects that need to be scrapped. But when you start off calling it a criminal organization, claim all its employees are 'lunatic radicals' and act like they're all somehow criminals, instead of people trying to do their jobs. When you start with a handful of lies about condoms for Gaza, subscriptions for Politico ... Gee, why would anyone question your motives or your honesty?

Even having this discussion with these dishonest people degrades all of us and our country. Because sure - the criminal whose entire career consists of defrauding people or banks ......... and the South African billionaire whose every interaction as an agrent of the US govt presents a conflict of interest ........ both really really want to help the American people. By making the government more efficient.

Even entertaining that idea is farcical.

But, of course, they are just trying to deflect and lie, while they create new and novel methods to steal.

Because Mike Benz has neen sounding the alarm about USAID for years. He"s the #1 reason USAID is being reformed. He's probably got 50+ hours of videos on USAID posted on his Twitter and much more that his subscribers can link to. Benz has changed the world. He's worked at the State Dept. He understands how the US funds terrorism and helps people in Afghanistan grow poppies to make heroin. How USAID overthrows governments and rigs elections. How USAID carries out psyops abroad. How they engage in censorship and control the media and how people think. How USAID helped start the war in Ukraine, helped create ISIS and helped install a head-chopping dictator in Syria.

USAID has been using these tools not just abroad but here in America. Benz helped educate Elon on these topics. No one is more responsible for the needed reforms taking place. I posted a Tucker Carlson interview with Benz early last year. I think you said you would not listen to it. I doubt anyone here did. I was hoping this day would come. Reforms will be difficult. Many politicians and their friends make a lot of money off USAID (per Mike Benz).

Govt lovers can not understand this process.
They want more taxes and more govt.
So this is likely the last thing you want to see happen.

tell me how much we paid fox news and other Murdoch related businesses last year.

you can't. why is that? do you think the number is zero or insignificant compared to politico?

should it concern you that the gubmnt is censoring information and only providing data which supports a partisan narrative?

Interestingly a couple of Donald Trump's Evangelical friends said the exact reverse. When Bill Clinton was in the White House both Jerry Falwell and Franklin Graham who Trump referenced in his prayer breakfast ramble by the way said that the character of the president mattered. When Trump ran for president the first time they both made statements to the effect that the sins of the president at the time a presidential candidate were a private matter between him and God and as they went on to endorse Trump.

"We care," Melania Trump declared in 2018 during a visit to Egypt as first lady to promote her partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development.

"We care, and we want to show the world that we care, and I've partnered and am working with USAID," she continued. "And that's what I want to share -- that we care."

On her four-country jaunt through Africa in 2018 -- her first major solo international trip as first lady -- Melania Trump offered praise for what she described as "successful" USAID programs as she observed them up close."

I guess the caring is over now.
