Trump has the not so surprising audacity to compare himself with Nalvany. If he were actually in a position similar to that of Nalvany before his death, instead of flying around the country holding MAGA rallies Trump would be confined to a penal facility in Alaska north of the Arctic Circle (speaking hypothetically since I do not think the US actually has one) and essentially held incommunicado .

    Hi philnotfil -
You and I may expect Trump to become incrasingly more erratic as this year progresses.

Why? The man spends half his time in court and so far is looking at the 355 million judgement, the 83 million judgement
and CRIMINAL cases are forthcoming, as well as MORE civil cases.

Considering Trump is a twisted you know what, I believe his mental faculties are in serious decline too.

His threats and rhetoric continue to wratchet up.

We have the very peculiar situation where a multiple felon, lawbreaker, and man of no consious or morality is protected by
his participation in the legal system and his former status as President.

In an earlier era in the USA he probably would have lost his citizenship or maybe even been executed for his treason.

IMO he has one or two plays:
    1) He must win re-election and then dismantle the justice system and the constitution. That will be done by some BS
emergency act, intended to put him permanently in the seat of power, followed by his sons I might add.

    2) He is pardoned. Far fetched but not impossible, especially if a republican wins the presidency, especially post 2024.
Other than that, I see financial collapse, abandonment (because of his treatment of people), and hopefully incarceration.

Pretty important to vote this cycle IMO.

A "Promethian" punishment would be far to light on that monster.

The same Navalny that posted against Russia attacking Ukraine despite his own peril? The same Navalny that grew up in Ukraine was going to level it? He was hardly a saint and had mixed stances on Crimea (though he condemned how Russia went about it), and who knows what his stance would have become if became president but you’re going to have to better than parroting Russian troll farm misinformation whether you’re getting it through the despicable Tucker Carlson, anti-democratic social media outlets, etc.

Gonzalez Lira lived in Lharkiv and was married to a Ukrainian. He told the truth about the war from the beginnings my and was proven correct. No serious analyst thought Ukraine could keep Russia from doing what it wanted. The best info on Navalny is on this video from 27:00 to 47:00

Fani Willis DEBACLE; Engoron's OUTRAGEOUS Trump Ruling; Navalny & MORE! Viva & Barnes Ep. 198
At one point Navalny wanted to invade Ukraine and Belarus. He went from far right white supremacy to supporting BLM and gay rights. It was a gift. Navalny was every very popular. You should watch the Barnes video from 27:00 to ,47:00. The Deep State has done a number on you guys.

Notice before he goes on his, "I hate America" rant that he uses the exact phrasing that Russia/Putin does about Navalny dying a "sudden death (syndrome)." He is 100% bought and paid for by Putin.

The relative veracity of the speech is completely irrelevant. No one should be jailed for speech, completely true or completely false. The whole point is that the government is not permitted to determine what is true.

If I read him correctly, the point wasn't to justify what Russia did to Navalny. The point was that we did the same exact thing just a few weeks ago, so why all the self-righteous indignation over Navalny? Yet, no such concerns being expressed about Lira? My hope is that we would be more concerned with U.S. involvement in such activity than we would a foreign nation's involvement. After all, if our government is doing this sort of thing, it will eventually trickle upon us. And it's not like Navalny was an American. The irony is quite thick and worrisome.

Trump has been making this abundantly clear, all by himself, no help even needed. Yet there are people who want to elect Putin, I mean Trump as president. I think I'll use a new name for Trump's Republicans. Repusskies.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2024/02/20/spain-russia-ukraine-kuminov-assassination-defector/

Russian military defector gunned down and run over in Spain.

A man’s corpse, found riddled with bullets and run over by a vehicle in Spain last week, was identified as that of Russian military pilot Maksim Kuzminov, who flew his Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine in a dramatic defection in August, Ukrainian officials said.

His apparent murder — after a very public threat to his life last year on Russian state television — has raised questions about whether this was a Russian-ordered assassination carried out on European soil.

News of Kuzminov’s violent demise emerged just days after the sudden death in prison of Russian political opposition leader Alexei Navalny, which European and U.S. officials have framed as evidence of the Russian government’s unchecked brutality.

We’re supposed to be outraged over made up claims that Biden directed or was complicit in his arrest, declining health, lack of medical treatment? This is a prime example of a strawman argument.

Yep, those evil Democrats are holding up Ukrainian aid too. SMDH

Pretty tough to watch from the sidelines as Ukranians are fighting a Western Democracy battle
while those idiots in the house want to play "MAGA politics" with insane arguments.

The free world will rue the day if Trumps MAGA crowd hands over Ukraine, Poland, The Baltic States, Finland and
Sweden to Putin. Let those scum send THEIR sons and daughters over there to fight Russian agression when Putin starts making overtures to reclaiming Alaska and the entire Artic region.

Of course they would prefer to just hand the US and the entire free world over to the Trump / Putin / Rocket Man coalition.

And those MAGA scum are waving American Flags around everywhere they go. SMDH, Need to change it to the Russian standard.
Oh well, we can shit can the Star Spangled Banner for the Russian version when Trump gets elected.

Wouldn't be a shock to learn the CIA or Navalny's wife was involved. Timing of Navalny's death wasn't good for Putin.
