Kind of like the Adolph and Benito show? As soon as Trump bows out or isn't paroled in time, DeSantis will cease pandering to the maga crowd and try to moderate and appeal more to the independants. He has no conviction except to gain influence.

The evidence points to DeSantis did what any good leader would do and focus on getting the covid shot to the elderly. There had to be decisions made. No plan was going to be perfect. But Publix was a no brainer with their distribution ability as a whole.

There is a reason the attempted hit pieces these stories were fell away into oblivion.

I kinda thought that DeSantis would take his shot now. He still may. But he may wait his turn. He's only 43, and I don't think anyone else obvious is in the lineup. If Trump doesn't win, he's probably done politically given his age. If Trump were to win, he'd be an immediate lame duck and have nothing else to run for in 2028. So I could see DeSantis waiting it out, but I still think DeSantis would be a much stronger nominee for the GOP in 2024.

DeSantis, or his aides, choosing to send vaccines to communities built by Pat Neal, a major pub bundler, had everything to do with politics. It was payback for all the cash that Neal bundles up and gives him and his causes

Lord help me but go ahead, I’ll bite. With verifiable facts why is it a crazy conclusion?

And yet another unrelated thread with actual implications on the fall and beyond devolves into the same argument for the 1000th time,

There are no facts. There is drawing a bullseye around a bullet hole. Don’t worry about cdc admitting they are stupid, don’t worry about all the blue states blasting him when it turns out he used actual common sense. Just find a couple scenarios that he could possibly be tied to and go for that.

    Stop talking out of your…

There is a reason these hit piece stories from early 2021 never gained traction and fell into oblivion.

DeSantis has the statists scared out of their mind.

Seriously…if you are a fan of what this Country is about. DeSantis is the closest thing to getting it right in decades. The man leads. He is a veteran. He uses common sense to solve problems while following the data.

Good grief the propaganda has messed people up.

It’s a shame but it’s politics. The guy made real decisions in a historical epidemic time. He didn’t just follow like a sheep to the cdc, who now admits they are actually stupid, but he made real hard choices that turned out to be the right choices. Yet he still gets attacked for it. It’s beyond bizarre.

And God help all of us, in
Florida, if the person they voted for had won.

    Hope it's trump.
Very few Republicans need to hold positions of trust until trump is thrown overboard and their ship is righted. We need a functional 2nd party and a significant number of elected Rs are dangerously unAmerican

Again, I’m stuck on this one. If Desantis runs he wins easily. He gets all the republican vote plus the Indy vote. If trump runs he gets non of those indies. But I’m good with Desantis being the Florida governor. It’s more important here anyway

Jones is a disgusting pig, who put grieving parents through hell. Yet, here you are defending him.

It's good to get the backwoods horse paste view of things.

DeSantis doesn't believe in the 1st Amendment and a few of the others. Let him go run for Viktor Orban's job.

When presented with facts (i.e. actual quotes from DeSantis allies bragging about how the early vaccinations in wealthy communities will help DeSantis politically), his defenders post laughing emogis. That's all they got.
