Hope auburn is reminding them of his little stomp in their game as well. Dude deserves multiple games. And the back of the head is not something to mess around with. Look up the story about the boxer Pritchard Colon. One of the saddest stories about a boxer who kept getting illegally punched in the back of the head during a match. Totally off limits.
Totally agree, but don't bet on it. Wouldn't be the "Bama Way." Forgive my pessimism. Hopefully I'm wrong.
wow, can't believe the league might actually do something about it. meanwhile, what about those flagrant foul free throws?
If I'm Golden, or Stricklin, I'm on a damn high horse about this. Natch, the "good old boy", behind the scenes, go-along-get-along, "Don't want to ruffle feathers" lawyerly weasels will dominate. I miss Steve Spurrier. I know what he would do and say.
absolutely. it's essentially the league officially saying that the officials missed a flagrant 2 foul call. 2 shots and possession I believe in the NBA, probably the same or close here absolutely insane that the refs missed it. ALL 3 OF THEM.
Alabama's remaining schedule: 2/24: at #17 Kentucky 2/28: at Ole Miss 3/2: vs #5 Tennessee 3/5: at #24 Florida 3/9: vs Arkansas Wague will probably be back against Tennessee. I doubt that Alabama will miss this player who only played 3 minutes against Florida and had 0 points. I would like to see that Alabama team itself be punished in some way where it really hurts, like the win-loss column for instance. Mohamed Wague 2023-24 Stats per Game - NCAAM - ESPN
yes he's basically a punisher for them not unlike a hockey team's punisher that just goes out there and gets in fights except this ain't hockey nor is it Aussie Rules
still can't believe we had 20 fouls to their 17 the way they played against us. diabolical. I also can't believe Clayton put up 24 shots, including 16 3pt attempts. That's just insane. Pass the damn ball inside, or drive and dish
Those kind of antics do not belong in sports in general much less in ameutuer College Basketball. The SEC if it had any kind of integrity & spine needs to suspend Alabama's basketball coach ala Jim Harbaugh/Big Ten.
absolutely, unfortunately we all know the answer to that meanwhile, you can take a kid out of the Bronx but you can't take the Bronx out of the kid. He averages a foul every 4 mins.
That would be 4 games to be out against us. That is about as likely to happen as if Eli Gold was let go. WAIT, Alabama just let Eli Gold go, after only 36 years as their broadcaster. Their reason was he was not producing up to Alabama’s standard. Gold went through esophageal cancer a few years ago and beat it. The only standard Alabama has is cheating. Shameful.
Two games max; we’ve all seen it too often. Hoping UK stomps their A$$ out of Lexington. And another thing, I don’t know the first thing about Nate Oates but I think he is a class A jerk.
He drove the ball plenty as well. The 16 3's is a lot but only a few felt forced or rushed. He got plenty of great looks.
Yeah I only recall 2 maybe 3 shots he probably shouldn't have taken. The way he was shooting in the first half, I would have said let him take as many as he wants. He just kinda went cold for a stretch but still got to the line several times in OT to keep the game close. Nobody else seemed to want the ball at times when Sears was denying (fouling) Pullin late.
