There may actually be enough rational politicians in Alabama to overrule the Supreme Court's decision. A bill has been introduced in the State Senate by a Republican senator that would not consider an embryo to be viable (i.e. to be considered a child) until transplanted into a uterus.

“Even before birth,” he added, “all human beings have the image of God, and their lives cannot be destroyed without effacing his glory.”

I'd never heard of this "Mandate." According to Wikipedia, God waited until 1975 to tell a few people about it.

 

The irony is there is no way Trump could live under the rules of such a mandate.

I'm pro-life and I've already posted on this thread. While I do believe live begins when a heartbeat starts and can be detected, anything before that is just the foundation of life. I don't believe an embryo constitutes life yet and I've already said I'm critical of this decision and that it should be overturned.

 

Since when did court rulings become sermons about "a holy God" creating life in his image? Isn't there something somewhere in this country about separation of church and state?

 

One of the worst and most hypocritical decisions ever by a supreme court in America. This from a state famous for ignoring the sanctity of a black person's life.
