Again, Congress has the power to fix this with an amendment. It is required. No other means will be a permanent fix. And yes, that requires the votes, I know, but until that happens, we will be ruled by the extreme left and extreme right. Quite frankly, Im tired of it. Just stop listening to them. We need a centrist party badly.

Don’t only roughly half of fertilized eggs implant and develop normally? I was told this by someone I respect but have never tried to verify.

I really don’t trust anything on the internet especially something that is politically hot. But this and my trusted friend sounds pretty good.

It sounds like the guttmacher organization is a good source. Still I am still skeptical.

Does that mean that a lot of women are committing murder?

No it means the idiots in charge of Alabama want to criminalize the woman’s monthly cycle.

So Alabama has determined human life begins BEFORE implantation and pregnancy. Next perhaps they will be banning IUDs as there is debate that they perhaps prevent implantation in some cases

That is on their list in some circles. No contraception of any kind. Don't kid yourselves about who we are dealing with here.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner.

Notwithstanding the editorialization that it applied only to abortion (as that was the question before the Court), the express finding of Dobbs was that no right of privacy exists in the Constitution. Which means that on a case by case basis, substantive due process will die at the hand of this court. So all of the holdings that legalized things like gay marriage, interracial marriage, contraception, sodomy, etc are at risk. The Court just needs a case in search of a solution, as it had with Dobbs.

It's never been just about abortion. It's about taking America back to the Christian theocracy of the 1950's when 80% of America was white and Christian. What the hell do you think it means when the Orange Idiot says "we have to take our country back:? Abortion was the pole around which to rally and fund raise. But make no mistake, that door has been flung open. .

And anyone who tells you differently is lying (either to themselves or to you, or both) or not paying attention.

No, this is what she truly believes.

A chemical pregnancy is not a real pregnancy. I think the line should be when the doctor can let you hear the baby’s heartbeat. With exceptions for rape, incest, coercion.
