You are correct….. kid looks and sounds like a winner from a great Gator family. I’m glad we were able to get our Pooh together to get him on board. I’m definitely a fan.

Nah it's not. He didn't compare performance. He responded to your criticism about his weight and simply pointed out that smith did fine with a similar build. Sometimes people just see the glass half full while others just make negative comment after the other...

 

I agree it's important to have a quality hit rate due to the roster turnover.....not sure I agree that any class of 20 is "very small". And that's just the high school kids, we will have another handful from the portal so there are a lot of new faces

Nope. Almost the exact same builds out of highschool. Smith is still listed at 170 in the NFL. It was a simple comparison of weights with no implications Wilson is going to be a Heisman winning reciever....

For those who don’t read the article, the biggest take home and not surprising line from Aidens parents via our track coach regarding Mullens staff…

“Coach Holloway was just really surprised nobody looked at him, especially with the numbers he had put up,” Wil said. “[Holloway] said that it was a known thing that the staff didn’t recruit during the season, and Coach Holloway, he’s a world-class coach. He’s like, ‘I coached in the Olympics. I recruit every day. There is no offseason for recruiting.’”


best thing- the video of the living space…what an upgrade from the prior dorm type rooms the players had. Amazing really.

Nope, I used devonte because skinny isn’t always a problem. People get caught up in prototypical size, speed, height all the time. Some guys can just play football. It’s not always measured at camps.
