He is protective of his players, the last question in the press conference Sat dealt with a "lack of talent" issue and Napier jumped right on that with "I DIDN'T SAY THAT".

While many of us are trying to dissect the "goods and bads" "rights and wrongs" I think CBN is looking at a bigger picture.

    1) Players competing at maximum effort.
    2) Players doing their job
    3) Players caring about each other and the staff, the organization and the University.
    4) Players conducting themselves "The Right Way" As a Person, a Student and as an Athlete.

My belief is that in CBN's view, all other things follow the above points. Which is why I like the fact Napier is not 'blaming" others. He is saying the players and staff have work to do to get better, but he's not going rouge after a few losses.

Dude, even the GA/FLA announcers noticed the two best players on the Gators offense, Torrence and Johnson, were transfers from the Ragin' Cajuns. And Mullen would have never recruited, Etienne, because the former coaching staff was too damn lazy!!! If you can't see improvement this year, ur not paying attention. Napier salvaged recruiting last year, because Mullen left us at something like a rank of 75 (?). Napier worked his arse off to redeem us in the top 20, and U can't see improvement? Discipline is much more better (resorting to southern lingo). The problem with this team is execution, and something needs to provide incentive to change, improve, and grow. Frankly, we dont have many talented players on either side of the ball! Georgia players were fast and talented and exposed the Gators as slow and average. Many, on defense, have horribly ingrained habits of playing out of position and abysmal tackling techniques. It's difficult to change a hardhead. Napier has had to use the leftovers from prior coaches, and that's been piss poor! WHAT MOST FANS ARE REALLY MAD ABOUT IS THE LOUSY RECRUITING AND DEVELOPING FROM THE PAST!!! Napier was hired to end stupid is as stupid does. Wake the hell up, GN? You are really pissed at Mullen! I thought Dan was an excellent play-caller but he couldn't manage or recruit worth a DAMN!!! Consider Johnson and Etienne, new guys, have gotten the lions share of toting the rock. And how does the running game stats for this year compare with last year. Speaking of stats, what about team penalties this year to last? Good God, are some of you that trucking daft? The doctor's in the house, and some of you have me questioning your cognitive fitness! (My bad, I meant this as sarcasm, and should have stated that!)
