Has anyone been watching the ACC Bowl game results? USF blowing out Syracuse 45-0. USC blowing out Louisville. West Virginia smacking UNC. Duke barely beating Troy. Virginia Tech was a convincing win for ACC versus Tulane, as was Georgia Tech versus a bad UCF team. Would suggest that FSU will get destroyed by UGA, regardless of opt outs. Incoming ACC member Cal destroyed by Texas Tech. The ACC added some weak football opponents in Cal, Stanford and SMU. No upgrade for conference and continues to give FSU and Clemson easy path toward 12 team playoff
The bowl season is only halfway, and the bowls played so far are the lowest level. This page shows the scorecard of the various conferences and is supposed to get updated as games progress. As of right now, the b1g whatever is leading with 100% victories (of 2 games) and the SEC is at the bottom with no wins – out of the one game.
Not much to take away from non-championship bowl games since most of the star players are sitting out…I watch anyway though
intersting of note is that the ACC has played 6 of their 11 bowls and SEC only 1 of 9, meaning that the ACC was in a lot of crappy bowls
Bragging about barely beating a 5-7 team with a back up QB that had barely played many downs before that game ..
Apparently, the Sun Belt and ACC are the best conferences because they have the most teams in bowls. Of course I'm using the same logic fsu used to justify why they should be in the CFP. Apparently, the Sun Belt should've too.
Big difference. One made a bowl (and lost to a 6-6 ACC school) and the other didn't make a bowl. I keep seeing these 6-6 teams playing in bowl games and if Florida had their schedule, we would have been 8-4. UF needs to move to the ACC so we can guarantee a playoff spot every year.
That may be the only way to occasionally get a fairly called game (or hell I’d even take quarter) when we play fsu with their ACC officials.
