    Whatever. $$$$$ is the new recruiting advantage in the now official pay-to-play system. But thanks for the laugh. That was a good one.

    Financial collapse is our only hope. That's what I'm rooting for. Let all the greedy bastards stick their hands out and grab as much as they can. Because they're ultimately going to find out that there isn't some giant pot of gold that Mr. NCAA buried in the back yard for them to fleece.

    And yet, less of a joke than 80% of the SEC in that regards (UF and a couple others not included).

    Only so much $$$$ to go around. And we've all seen the NCAA commercial about 90%+ of athletes go pro in something other than sports.

    May not mean anything for football, but for Olympic sports, good students, who know they don't have va pro sports career, academics will still matter. Tell a kid and his/her parents that if you go to UF, you'll travel X miles for Y hours, but go to UCLA, you'll be traveling 2X miles for 2Y miles, and that could be a deciding factor.
