If Biden wants to stop Trump he can issue a blanket pardon for all illegal immigrants and for any and all crimes they may have committed since they came to the US.:emoji_upside_down::emoji_upside_down::emoji_upside_down:

Except you can't pardon for future offenses, so the day after their pardons they would be violating the law again if here illegally.

Not if a court ruled that coming here, not being here, was the illegal act.

Except that will never happen. For example, many enter the country legally on a student visa and then never attend school or drop out. Their initial entry was legal, but they overstayed their visa, are here illegally and are then subject to deportation.

Similarly, so are noncitizens who entered the US legally on tourist visas and overstayed those visas. My guess is that wealthy Venezuelans who entered the US as tourists and have become overstays are much less likely to be deported by Trump than Venezuelans who entered the US illegally at the Southern border or even those who have pending asylum applications and are technically in the country legally.
