Never say never, what if BN goes 4-8 back to back? I'm not saying it will happen, but it's possible. 4-8 back to back is harsh, but BN is on path to be the 1st UF coach in my memory to start with 3 losing seasons (50% of chance it will happen). He's gone if that happens
There is a chance. And I hope BN realize this mistakes and short-comings and right the ship in the off-season
His buyout (according to what I read here)is 32 million. That may give him this year, and next year probably.
I guess your memory is short or maybe selective. Between the last Colorado game of last season and the end of Spring Football Practice of this year, "Since arriving to begin his tenure as coach of the Buffaloes in early December, 52 scholarship players have entered the transfer portal with 43 bolting since the conclusion of the spring game last month. Well over 80% of Colorado's 2022 roster is officially moving on," Basically Sanders and his staff had total rebuild job since they came on board. I am just estimating but that 80% figure could total 80 player if the rooster is at 120 players. I really don't care who Colorado played this past Friday night. Yes their defense has some issues to fix. However, to have brand new offense score 40 plus points in their season opener is amazing. 50%? I think that’s a really ridiculous worst case scenario statement, not something that has much likelihood to happen. Matter of fact I’d say that very unlikely and you’re way off base.
Encouraging start no doubt but I wouldn’t get too excited about it. Giving up 40 is pretty bad as I don’t think TCU has a great offense. If I was Dion, I would give Colorado a reality check before someone else does. We could have played tge same game against TCU and I would still be weary playing Tenn in two weeks.
We're just one game into the season, a 13pt road loss against a top 15 and you're speculating about next season's losing record?
Speaking of Colorado and Coach Prime on ESPN College Game Day wrap-up, the announcer said something I believe is correct: "As a new coach your job is to make your program believe while installing your foundation." I'm having trouble with the belief part. The irony was not lost as Dan Mullen was one of the two commentators along with Gator Great Kevin Carter.
A “Nole” who refuses to claim FSU, wanted to be a Gator, has brought Gators in to talk to his kids and who would probably win a National championship here. Yes, I’m sure I would be tarred and feathered for that. The same fans who hate Urban Meyer. The dumbass contingent.
Meh. I think the top programs or let’s say SUSTAINABLE programs are built through HS recruiting. Relying on hired guns (that’s what they are) isn’t going to work in a rebuild. It’s good for a quick fix if you already have a solid foundation. UF does not.
He wins one game against TCU and we’re you proclaiming Napier was probably going to win a national title when we beat Utah last year? Utah is better than TCU in my opinion. I doubt they would lose to Georgia in the fashion TCU did. Great first game no doubt but pump tge brakes a bit.
Again if you want to know the objections to Deion, they are categorically laid out in the thread on Awesome Recruiting discussing Colorado.
