Yup. We are in the era of the rich get richer. It was pretty clear from the beginning that incredibly flawed implementation of NIL would create this dynamic almost immediately. Funny thing is that if Texas would have gone full-on "bammer" prior to NIL, they would probably have been up in the Top 5-6 all along.

If this era lasts long enough, it will be interesting to see what happens to Alabama which has a a strong in-state competitor in a not particularly rich State. They don't completely own a State like Ohio State does or have oil money coming out their ears like Texas.
