Trump is the truest example I can think of when it comes to "partisan politics".
I was and am devastated that a responsible citizen, such as Haley, was not nominated.

Like others, I am shocked that the GOP still wants to support this type of heinous individual.

I can only comment, that if a Democrat - Obama, Biden, Clinton - any of them, demonstrated so many character flaws,
there is NO WAY I would vote for a person like that, irregardless of party.

It just demonstrates how the voting public has gotten off the "rational rails" to the insane "my party no matter what" rails.

Sad - and he just might get re-elected if recent polls are believable.

A big part of being President is being Commander-in-Chief. I would think how a POTUS treats both active military and vets, and the honored fallen would go a long way in how someone views their record as President? Or is national security and our troops not that important?

Trump making Memorial Day all about him also goes a long way to show his own narcissism. He's never about what is best for others. He's all about himself, and nobody else. His record shows this, as does the fact most of his closest advisors from his past Presidency are now voting against him.

The fact that you don't see what's wrong with Trump's Memorial Day message is indicative of a lack of respect for our country and those who died in her service. Equally sad and unsurprising.
