A Little Fun . . . The UcheaT Fan Who Ran Onto Steve Spurrier Field

I wonder what would've happened if these moron UT fans thew mustard bottles on the field? LOL. Do you guys remember when TN did that to another teams stadium?

 

I went to UF early/mid 80s. I think at some point there may have been an incident of fans running the field. After that they had state troopers standing around the field about every 5-10 yds after the game. The first time there were still a few brave gator fans who tried but as soon as they got to the field they were quickly hog tied on their stomach hands behind their back and just left there for everybody else to see. Needless to say that pretty much crushed any further desire to rush FL field.

Jacksonville was another story. When we finally beat GA in 1984 after many years the goal posts ended up in Gainesville on frat row.

 

What a GOAT.

I'd like to snag him from the Tennessee fan base.

Ahh yes . . . the good ole days. I so miss those beatings.

 

i did see cops on horseback at the Gator Bowl in 1986 against UGa. After we won, the horse took a dump in the Georgia end zone between the I and A.

 

They used to ring the field with horses too!!!

 

We beat UGaly in Jax in 1984 and tore down the goalposts. In 1985, they upset us when we were #1 and their fans tried to return the favor. They never made it to the goalposts and I saw some ridiculous ass whoopings by the cops toward the fans in the front of the melee. I guess it is hard to understand that when you are getting pushed forward by 50 people behind you, its hard to stand your ground. I also saw those hicks rough up Albert that day to the extent that several Gator fans jumped the fence and helped escort the mascot out of harm's way.

 

We could have him run out every game after Won’t back down. Nice tradition.

 

If a fan goes on the field during a game, I’d like to see him get tased and twist and twitch on the ground in front of 90,000 fans.

If fans swarm on the field after an upset victory, I’d be in favor of the winning school having to pay the losing school $1 million.

They say after every Gator loss Phil would knock out 2 dozen Krispy Kreams to lessen the pain.

I never had any probs with the popo because all available data suggested that goofin' on the cops is not a good idea. I did get tuned up by an Army Ranger in a bar fight when I was in the army, long, long ago. Since then, I don't mess with Rangers much anymore either.

 

It cures many ailments

 

It's made me a better man. Well, maybe a little better.
