Well, the estimates in the city were that occupancy at hotels was much lower than even in 2016 or Obama's much smaller second inauguration. So it appears that he was having difficulty with that.

6 inches. Not unusual for DC to shot down for that much snow. Haven’t you seen that on every snow storm like this in the past?

Whoa fellas I think you struck a nerve lmao. I’m not sure if this current band of cons has the mental toughness to handle the criticism the next 4 years as this admin, like all those before, screws stuff up.

Apparently, you are still upset about his low turnout in 2016. I'm just glad that he gave himself and his supporters some ego cover by not having an even smaller crowd on the mall!

I couldn’t care less. All I care about is that he is President. You Libby’s seem to be obsessed with the crowd. Who cares?

It seems like you care. You seem quite concerned with people making fun of him for a lack of crowd size. Heck, you are still posting about it. And that is a full 8 years later!

I didn’t start this thread. The only crowd that concerned me was the one at the ballot box. Perhaps you can explain why the crowd size at the inaguration matters.

Actually those posters to whom you refer to as "Libbys" were merely pointing out Trump's well documented obsession with crowd sizes. Apparently you do not recall that after his first inaugural Trump bragged about crowd size and his first Press Secretary Sean Spicer tried to rationalize Trump's obvious misstatement by saying the Trump was including the TV and online audience that heard Trump's speech not just the crowd that was actually present at the Inaugural and it was also in response to Trump's lie about crowd size that Kellyanne Conway coined the term "alternative facts".

    NCR
DC and the Park Police not being equipped for it. Just the level of coordination and effectiveness is not something planners could count on.

At least u guys keep it entertaining over here. Never learn anything, but stay in a constant state of denial. Impossible to reason with, but easy to laugh at.

I don't often quote a post from another thread but I think this thread deserves the same comment.

DC is getting ready to give Trump the welcome that a sexually assaulting felon deserves.

Wait, people actually travel to watch these escaped nursing home patients read ghost written speeches? I always figured it was one of those things for elementary school field trips and locals who show up as an excuse to skip work.

Maybe the fact I'm spending time on a Sunday even making this comment is the final push to move out of the miserable climate that is Tennessee. Complete waste of days November through February.
