Hopefully these are all the early drafts of the book Chris is working on about this season and this team in which we will find more and better reasons to remember them with fondness.
The really hard work begins now. They’ve prepared all season long for this. Head down, intense hustle, relentless effort and intensity gets the team where they want to be. Go Gators!
From the article: "For the record: Spurrier went 11-1 against LSU, including a 58-3 win at Baton Rouge that still stands as the worst home loss in Tigers' history" I was at that game, LSU took the opening possession and drove for a FG. Gators closed with 58 unanswered. Afterwards, my buddy's LSU friend took us to a bar that had a long line. We walked to the front of the line and the bouncer let us right in. We had to have ran up a big tab ordering "little drinks" for us and people around us, but no charge. People here rag on the Corndogs, but I have good memories of LSU fans.
Boy, that Scott Stricklin sure knows how to hire head coaches. Maybe he just sees something in people.
