Can anyone remember the last time we had 7 seniors on one team?
Especially in the one and done era, and even more specifically in the youngest or one of the youngest conferences (SEC) in the country, that has to put us at an advantage if we can get these guys to click.

    Appleby
    Castleton
    Duruji
    Fleming
    KJ (please let him play)
    Jones
    McKissic

I haven't been this excited for a season in a while. Can't wait to see how all this experience comes together. Senior Day will include half our team.

Need to look at the opponents' rosters. The covid era made for a whole bunch of veteran teams in football and hoops. Do our SEC competitors have similar seniority?

Having older experienced guys is a good thing.

absolutely. There's a big difference between 18/0 and 22/23 yrs. I agree Covid made for a slightly older roster but our team, but we've added 2-3 years of experience vs 1.5 years of Covid

Our SEC competitors don't. The SEC is a young conference in general. We have the most seniors at 7. Georgia next highest at 6. 5 teams with 2 or less. Average is 3.5, so we're double.
    Bama: 5
    Arkansas: 5
    Auburn: 2
    Georgia: 6
    Kentucky: 2
    LSU: 2
    Miss St: 2
    Missouri: 1
    Ole Miss: 4
    USC: 5
    Tenn: 3
    A&M: 4
    Vandy: 4

Regardless, we would still be tied for the most in the SEC.

Great thread Jeff - it sure can't hurt to have experience.
We are all getting ants in the pants now in anticipation of our new team.

Can't wait for the first scrimmages and tip off to the season.
