Completely screwed. Alabama will somehow get a 4 or 5 which is comical.

 

All first games are tough but damn Colorado or Boise. Very difficult matchups

It can’t possibly be due to Micah. For some reason they don’t like our resume. The Vandy loss was the killer

All the good analytics guys said we were going to be underseeded this year. This doesn't bother me. We get a Friday matchup with a team that has to win a play-in game. Far better than a 6 on Thursday.

 

I wanted the 6. I felt really good against any of the 3s.

But Marquette is probably our best bet amongst the 2s.

 

Playing Friday means more than getting a 6 seed after the grind of the weekend imo. The 1st match-up is winnable although we'll have to play well and Marquette is a better option than some of the other 2's, but we'd still be a dog for sure. Then somehow win that game & UK is a dogfight.

At this point let's wins the 1st game & bring our A game to Marquette and pull the upset. It was surprising not getting the 6 but could have been a lot worse.

Here's the seed that similar teams earned - avg 5.6 so #7, even with the loss of a player, seems excessive.
