A spinoff of that false dichotomy: you're either a Trump supporter or a communist, or in this case you're either a Trump supporter or you are mentally ill.

When the issue came up with their daughter she was not an adult. I do not give Kellyann a pass, but at the time that the issues became public, she stepped back from the high profile politics, for the good of their daughter. It seems that George did not.

I would love to know what my fellow conservative friends disagree with in my statement.

You guys think Dylan in the F350 is as likely to admit its an issue as Kelly in the prius, and then to seek a MH evaluation?

    You know better.

Partisan brainwashing. One disagreed with my claim based on my direct experience with people I know. How is that possible? Zombies.
FTR my take was the same as yours. Pretty equal.

Critical Thinking... one that will research everything and not take anyone's word for the truth... especially about medicines and politics.

In the case of politics, one that can separate one's own personal feeling from actual political views from a certain candidate. I keep my emotions out of my politics. I vote for the person that will change our country for the better, regardless of my emotions about personalities. Politics is not personnel to me...so much, if not all, that is brought to these political opinion threads means NOTHING TO ME. They're too many emotions based on feelings/opinions.

I look at the bigger picture... and not the emotional minutia when I look for the next man to run our country. But it is entertaining to watch… read and listen to people attempt to sway my political opinion on what I see as the political importance of a presidency. I never fall for the emotional appeal that the Leftists seem to love.

I vote for the candidate that promises, and can prove it though their actions, the most Freedom and Liberty for all Americans, not just freedom for a select few of their brand of politics... like the communist Chinese promise for loyal communist subjugated people.

I vote for the rule of law, not the catch and release politicians that endanger all American with their libel actions of letting invaders into our great nation.

I want common sense security, not big-brother cyber overlords that take your civil and human rights away from us as the cost for a miniscule illusion of freedom and liberty.

I want lawmakers that abide by the laws written, in plain English, in the Constitution of The United States of America.

And above all... I want an American president that thinks of Americans FIRST AND ONLY when making any trade deals or treaties. I do NOT want some Global overlord wannabe.

Intelligence is knowing who I can trust with those principles I mentioned above...

I was just saying that real intelligence likely wont lead you to being miserable.

Intelligence is much more than the paper on our walls or the amount of books we read.

Happiness, even in a simple form is a sign of someone smart enough to know what makes them happy. Chasing knowledge is sometimes not the smart way to stay happy.

I think you make a point to consider but it’s only one point on the issue.
Libbies are typically of higher intelligence and quite proud of that fact. I think it can lead to more pressure and instability once you know certain things about the world.
Some people crack under the pressure of too much knowledge and may become unsteady.
I really do believe conservatives are more often described by saying ignorance is bliss. Cons are generally attracted to stability, consistency and find peace in family and religion.
As we see on the board, libbies are rarely content. They’re always pushing for more and I think that insatiable appetite for more makes them more likely to experience mental illness, especially anxiety and depression.
Of course, I’m generalizing but it does track.

Lol. Look, I had a Ford truck for years. My mid life crisis will be either a '79 or '96 Bronco. (hopefully).

That said, I really would like to hear what they disagree with. I dont think it was a shot at anyone. Just a statement of probable reality.

Dylan will go to the deer woods or fishing to relieve the stress of everyday life. He also probably spends much less time on social media or being worried about his relationship with his spouse or best friend. Because of the things I listed he is much less likely to need a MH evaluation.

I think this is more like a gender thing, I suppose there is a political correlation there since men are probably going to be more conservative/moderate. You could make this poll about going to the hospital with chest pain too. A woman will probably be like "I should go to the hospital" and 9 out of 10 men will be like "eh, I'll sleep it off."

Oh, if he spends too much time doing those things, he will definitely be worried about his relationship with his spouse

She will make sure of it;)

True, and if she is a liberal she will seek mental health counseling because he does not pay her enough attention.
