There's a retaliation list spreadsheet allegedly tied to this Raiklin guy on Twitter for Trump's targets. There are the usual Dems on it like Biden and Schumer but also pubs like Pence.

 

Yeah, MAGA is spreading a list of people they want to kill, but I’m sure this is Joe Biden’s fault…

 

I mostly agree with this but I think it's very important to learn whether this attack was politically motivated or not. I think we all (or I did anyway) just assumed from the outset it was a liberal who despised Trump and wanted to eliminate him as a presidential candidate. If it was a liberal who tried to kill Trump it lends credence to his claims of non-stop victimization at the hand of liberals. A liberal trying to kill trump is political gold on the campaign trail.

 

Sure, it's pure gold for partisan hacks that want to divide us with hatred, but the reality is it's one lunatic with a gun.

 

Not disagreeing with you. It's one lunatic with a gun that in no way defines an entire group. Anyone capable of critical thinking that isn't blinded by partisanship can see that. Having said that, I'd prefer that those who wish to divide us with hatred not have a powder keg at their disposal.

You seem to be conflating two different incidents into one.

The police shot and killed a homeless guy. Nothing to do with the convention, other than the out of town cops killed him.

There was also some guy with a mask and a gun in a backpack that they detained without incident. That guy could well have had bad intentions for all we know. He was wearing a mask (from the movie Scream, apparently). Although he’s in trouble only because his gun was concealed in a backpack. He should have just open carried.
