I suspect my brothers draft deferment was much like Trumps/Bidens. He was healthy enough to play football & baseball in high school but he had a heart murmur as a child. Dad was a corporate exec with a lot of local connections. I heard him say once that the doctor told him the murmur would be enough to keep John out of the draft if he wanted. I take it there was a choice there.

 

There is no testimony as Hunter has not been subpoenaed to testify before congress. I suspect that is coming.

The recent information is potential for tax and gun related questions. What is the connection to Joe Biden? I guess this is all conjecture at this point.

 

I reiterate taxes are not the only issue. Where did the money come from and where did it go? Everyone knows Hunter Biden is broke. Given the millions of dollars involved I fail to believe all that went to drugs and women. President Biden was well aware of Hunter's business involvements. There is ample evidence to suggest President Biden shared in largess. Call it conjecture if you want the klaxon sirens and red lights are blaring. Taxes and a gun charge are the least of Hunter's worries.

Not sure why you thought that, but from what I can tell, their adjusted gross income for 2019 was near a million. I'm sure his net worth is nowhere near a lot of politicians though.

While the link only concerns one year, the sources of Biden's income probably wasn't all that much different from what he received in prior and subsequent years. Most of the windfall from Biden's speaking engagements and book deals apparently occurred in 2017 and 2018.

 

I quite agree that it was dumb as dumb can be, and close to a 1000 other scenarios make more sense than him showing up inebriated and leaving all of his laptops there for service. Yet it seems that’s exactly what happened. People have hinted that it makes no sense for him to have been there since he did not live in that area at the time, but then all he would have to have done is account for where he was on the date of the invoice. Give me any date for the past 10 years, and I can probably research and figure out where I was or at least where I wasn’t. I also thought it was odd he would never categorically deny that it was him or whether it was really his computer (versus a replica built up with hacked data). It was always a vague “don’t think so” or “not certain.” I have to conclude that, until different evidence comes to light, the most likely scenario is that, however stupid, he did indeed roll right into that shop with those computers and never came back.

There is zero point zero evidence or it would have been produced by now. What there is are right wing fever dreams.

Now with the Kushners, there is plenty of evidence there of pay to play.

 

Maybe. Still as simple as demonstrating that he was nowhere near the computer store in question on the date in question. If he does that, it doesn’t matter what infinite number alternative scenarios exist for how that store got his computer. All that would matter is that it wasn’t him who deliberately turned in his own sensitive materials and failed to pick them up again. The fact that he has not categorically stated it wasn’t him is pretty telling in my opinion.
