I get it but to each their own. I generally ignore the emotions of the whole fiasco recruiting has become though. They are kids and it's cringey to attack kids but they along with their parents and the sleazy business of college football bring this on themselves. I miss the days where you had to wait for an occasional article and then faxes on signing day to really bother with recruiting. But there are plenty of other things to comment on here other than the occasional recruit bashing especially in regards to florida fans. Miami is absolutely trashing Rashada now. Its not unique to this base. As i said, To each their own though. I understand
I'd be fine with upping the ante. It's a practice that we need to employ. I doubt it happened here. Disarray with scUM and the likelihood that AR bolts to the NFL were most likely the determining factors.
Maybe you shouldn’t have gone there, particularly with baseless speculation that is critical of Napier and our program. But since you went there, I’m going to baselessly speculate also, but in a positive way for our program. Maybe Rashada attended some of the Cocanes games and saw three thousand fans there and didn’t like that. Maybe he wanted to play in front of 90k fans and liked that. Maybe he realized how shitty ACC teams are and didn’t like that. Maybe he realized how good SEC teams are, wanted to play in the big league, and liked that. Maybe he saw the UM campus and academic curriculum, and didn’t like that. Maybe he saw the UF campus and curriculum and liked that better. Maybe he decided Crystal balls was a shitty coach who couldn’t beat even crappy ACC teams, had a bad career record, and just got pole axed by FSU,and didnt like that. Maybe he decided Napier was an upcoming coach and he liked that. Maybe he feels like he had made a bad decision, and changed his mind; not hard to understand. Since everyone is now paying players, why do you think Ruiz wouldn’t have upped the ante? Why do you think we did, given all of the above? I could go on, but won’t
Seems like taking him ran counter to a lot of our recent press. I was just asking some questions about it. Not sure where you're picking up me being critical, unless you mean critical in a sense of questioning - cause yeah, I'm doing that. But I'm casting no aspersions on BN or the program. All the reasons you listed seem reasonable and I hope they're true. Doesn't mean I have to pretend the last few months of press didn't exist. I'll let it go. Like I said - just asking Qs and I got a lot of very reasonable responses. Thank you all. Thank you Jaden. Go Gators.
Sure he trolled us. I’ll give a pass on telling everybody, especially his Gator high school coach, that he was UF-bound, only to do the opposite. Maybe he changed his mind, maybe Ruiz threw a sack of gold at him, doesn’t matter, he’s just a kid, right? The posed shot pointing to the Gator hater however made it personal. It was the middle finger as he walked away a scUM hurricane. Call it whatever you want, but that made it all a big troll act. Note that I didn’t say anything derogatory about the kid, didn’t call him a name or anything like that - I simply said he trolled us. So lighten up
Watching some Miami meltdown on youtube right now. Man, we are so deep in their heads. They hate us with a passion for some reason. I guess I can name the reasons: Way bigger fanbase, best conference, better resources, better recent history, a real stadium with real fans. I guess it's little brother syndrome for them. Still, if you watch their videos and reactions, the hate is palpable.
Dude you left out The Flop. Outrageous insult to Miami way back in the Doug Dickey days. I had a high school teacher who was on that Miami team and there aren’t words for the hate that generated. And hey, Reaves and Alvarez broke the passing record because of it!
