Why? Hill saw the route disrupted by Miller, saw the Missouri QB stare down receiver to reestablish timing and broke on the ball as it left the QB's hand. Why do you believe that wasn't a good/great play? He ran downhill at the exact correct time using what he had been taught and jumped that route and your screen capture shows how it was a great play by Hill because he was in the right place. Why belittle that with insisting that it was thrown into his hands by a terrible QB?
Not sure what the discussion attempts to prove or uncover, but I'm not one to think our players can't play. It's deeper than that.
Probably, most of our defense would not start for Georgia. Ventrell Miller is decent on the run, but he and Burney are poor at covering tight ends and running backs on receptions. Who knows what we are getting in Dijon, yet? The write up on him sounds like he's raw in some areas. Of course, OSU wanted him, so he must be special (?). We can hope so!
Nobody said he was elite. I said that he was our best corner. Yes LSU abused him and yes LSU has very good receivers.
No way for our DBs to prepare for speed, as we don’t have any in our WR ranks. Could be a few years. We really need 3 high end DBs with speed this cycle. Hope the current verbal, Ja’keem, does not go to KY with brother
I was kind of looking at Dijon as just icing (condiment, if you want to use the wordplay) on top of this db class, but with McClain going to the canes, Dijon has just become our best DB in this class. Dijon looks to play safety , So we still have room for a stud CB in this class. COme on down Mr. Ricks, all eyes on you!
ughhhhhh deleted but Dijon tweeted “Lets go Bucks” obviously since he watching the OSU game and a former OSU commit but you know that made Gator fans panic
Long way till December. How many kids stay committed if we lose 3 of 4 to end the season? A real possibility as we are not getting better as the season progresses. Hard to measure progress after playing top team, but a loss to TAM would be telling. NIL makes everyone vulnerable. Lot of kids want to win and play for championships. If they can’t see that, they look around. We need a big win and some momentum back. Go Gators! Let’s win our last 4.
I agree. If we look mediocre, like once thought-to-be talented kids aren't progressing, that becomes a concern as well. but miami is buying their way out of those concerns. If I pay you a million more than UF, Bama, or the rest of the contenders, would you care if you aren't bowl eligible?
